I recall when these barns were for sale earlier in this decade and the price was at or below at $1M mark for the list price. The sad thing is that as graceful as this complex is without a working purpose it becomes a white elephant. There is almost now way (or logical one) someone could convert to a residence and that area simply isn't upscale (nor wants to be) for premium condos. It would be lovely if it could revert to being a stable but the market is awash in a glut of trophy horse properties as it is.

It was the perfect venue for an industrial arts company such as theirs.

In 2009 one could never build such a lovely, solid and imposing series of stone buildings for $1.9M million today so it is a bargain and a charming one at that.]]>Oct 29th 2009 9:13AM
