A few more tips for choosing the best ergonomic chair for your body size include: 1) Adjust the seat height to the same level your knees are at when standing, and 2) With the proper seat cushion size you should be able to fit your clenched fist between the front of the chair and the back of your knee. It's actually not intended to be a great desk/task chair, but rather a chair used on occasion - like in a board room. Sorry, you need to go back to your Office Depot chair, study the industry and its products, then make informed comments.

michael

Comments on Herman Miller Setu Review: The Easy Ergonomic Chair

Michael,
I appreciate your (hopefully) well intended response. It is true that from a marketing perspective Herman Miller does tout the Setu as chair for group uses such as in a conference room - but that is so not to impede upon its more dedicate desk chairs. My personal discussions with Herman Miller revealed that the Setu is not only suitable for desk or task use, but a good fit for that role when people enjoy the comfort of the chair. You don't need to be an industry expert to grasp these concepts. If you are more concerned with the marketing and sales perspective of the chair industry, then this is the wrong article to look at anyway. Thanks again and take care.

Ariel Adams
