I did a great deal of research, online and offline, and learned a lot about this business. I checked pawn shops, jewelers, "gold parties", hotel "buying events as well as the online buyers, including the "as seen on tv" guys. I found that the Silver and Gold Exchange paid more than anyone else I could find. I liked the fact that they post the prices they pay per gram (beware of the places that quote in pennyweight/DWT) on a live price chart at http://SilverAndGoldExchange.com I also checked out their Better Business Bureau report and found they have never had a single complaint as opposed to HUNDREDS of complaints some other companies have! Someone bought you a piece of fine jewelry and you want to sell it. Do you honestly think that you are going to really get the market value for that piece. Talk about an on line flea market deal to try to make a "good" buy from someone who is despirate enough to sell the family jewels. Granted if you don't want it - sell it - and I am all for that idealism, but lets be honest. When a dealer is coming to you or you go to a dealer to sell, get the price of gold from that morning. Find out how much a penny weight or a gram of gold is really going for that day. Weigh the jewelry you have out and have in your mind the true worth before you go. Write it down. If the person you are doing business with does not give you something that is at least within that ball park - walk a way and I will say this again - WALK A WAY - believe me you will not be sorry you did as you will definately get more money for your stuff from someone else and stick to your guns and don't let anyone try to tell you your stuff is NOT WORTH WHAT YOU - YES YOU - WANT FOR IT!!!!!

ANIMAL LOVER IN FLORIDA
