The $240,000 Blackberry Curve

Our favorite gadget bedazzler, Alexander Amosu is at it again. He has announced the creation of what he calls the "the world's most expensive BlackBerry." His BlackBerry Curve 8900 feature nearly 29 carats of diamonds (over 4,450 individual stones) and is drenched in 18K gold. It is expected to sell for $240,000. According to CIO, Amosu plans to sell only three, one of which has already gone to a client in the Middle East.

A MAJOR case of more dollars then sense... Oh well, if that is how THEY want to spend THEIR money... Sure wish someone would give me 1/4 of a million for no good reason, I could really take care of some stuff w/ that much money...

It's all relative. People that can afford to spend $240,000 on a piece of electronic equipment that will surely outdate in a few months have the luxury of spending it. As for me...if I spent $100 on a simple phone, I'd be spending outside my limits. If I possessed that kind of money, I probably wouldn't give a second thought to purchasing this BlackBerry. I have all the money I need.....for today as tomorrow may not come. That's how I live.
