
Former Top Chef contestant Spike Mendelsohn has a new dish for a good cause. The "Michelle Melt" turkey burger
named for the First Lady was unveiled at
Good Stuff Eatery in Washington DC this week. Mendelsohn created the burger in collaboration with White House chef Sam Kass, who previously cooked for the Obama family in Chicago. The burger features a free range turkey burger, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, ruby red tomato, crisp lettuce, South Lawn herb garden mayo, freshly baked wheat bun.
