Per Se Dinner Offers First Sips Of New Bacon Beer

On Friday nights many people go on the quest for a good beer but take that simple idea to Per Se restaurant in New York City and the idea gets a little more complicated (and fabulous). Tomorrow, September 18, Per Se is hosting a beer-paired tasting dinner with brewmaster Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery. Brooklyn Brewery Beers will be matched with a seven-course tasting menu. Among the other offerings, this is your first chance to taste "Reinschweinsgebot" an innovative beer infused with bacon from Benton's Country Smokehouse. You can't go wrong with bacon. This event will take place in the Per Se Private Dining Room and costs $350 per person.

Wow. The first comment and the first two replies are unrelated to the story--ads for sites that will steal your ID or con you into purchasing something that does not work. Can't help but wonder if AOL gets a kickback on these things since they seem to run rampant and there is no sign of this nonsense abating....

Wow. The first comment and the first two replies have nothing to do with the story, but are ads for web sites that will steal your information (malware) or simply steal your money by offering products that just don't work. I can't help but wonder if AOL gets a cut since this problem seems to be getting worse and worse with no sign that they are doing anything about it.

$350.00? $350.00??? For $350.00 tasting, I'll toss a couple of limply cooked slices into my glass or stuff them into the can or bottle.
