--Composer Adam Guettel, who won a Tony for "The Light in the Piazza," has bought a four-bedroom apartment at The Osborne building from clothing-store mogul Marcy Syms. We checked it out as an estate of the day earlier this year.
--Apollo Global's Joseph Azrack has purchased a 6,250-square-foot townhouse at 24 W. 11th St. with a listing price of $14.9 million.

--Actress Julie Bowen has sold her home in Los Angeles' Studio City area for $2.1 million. We checked it out as an estate of the day when it was listed at $2.695 million.

--Tiki Barber and his wife Ginny have closed on the purchase of a 22nd-floor apartment at the Miraval at 515 East 72nd Street, nearly two years after word first spread that they were buying the apartment. The Barbers paid $4.8 million for the new apartment.
--From the NY Observer, porn magnate Carl Ruderman has put his two 43rd-floor apartments at 200 East 65th Street on the market for $13.25 million. The listing is here.
--via the NY Observer, real estate investor Aharon Vaknin has put his brownstone at 9 West 70th Street on the market for $12 million. The listing is here.
----Gary Jortner, a retired SVP at Pfizer, and his wife, Cindy, have put their condo at 15 CPW on the market, less than two years after picking it up for $2.44 million. It is listed for $3.195 million.
--via the NY Observer, financier Dan Neidich, who co-founded the hedge fund Dune Capital with Steve Mnuchin, has paid $2.984 million for a two-bedroom condo at 211 Elizabeth Street for one of his children.
-- Nancy Rutter, a former reporter for Forbes and the ex-wife of Netscape co-founder Jim Clark, has paid $3.55 million for a penthouse apartment at 230 East 73rd Street.

--Eve Weinstein, the ex-wife of producer Harvey Weinstein, has gone into contract to sell her sixth-floor apartment at 1133 Fifth. It was listed most recently for $11.9 million.
--David Sidwell, who retired as Morgan Stanley's CFO in 2007, has picked up an apartment at 25 Central Park West a few floors below the one he sold back in June. He paid $6 million for a unit on the building's 20th-floor.

These homes are truly beautiful. 7.9 million for a home is a lot of money, but now I see why.
