Fendi Skunk Fur Peekaboo Roll Bag, Handbag of the Day
Many animal furs or skins have been used to create unique handbags in the past but I think this one is a first for me! Fendi's Skunk Fur Peekaboo Roll Bag features fine leather and soft skunk fur with an adjustable crossbody strap for $1,970 available for pre-order currently on Saks.com. Although the bag is made in Italy the skunk fur originates in Canada. I'm just curious but is there really a market for skunk furs?? Are they raised for this purpose or is it just a way to recycle roadkill? Although I love the neutral tones of the handbag and the significant stripe created by the skunk fur I'm just not into the idea of stinky creatures as an accessory. (10 3/4" x 11" x 2 3/4" with adjustable strap of 18" to 24")
