Isleview Place, Estate of the Day

Luxist reader Ben directed me to Jason Soprovich's realty website to show off one West Vancouver home but I ended up falling for another one, this waterfront palace. This home is located on a private bluff in the Whytecliff area. The dramatic glass windows facing the water form a stellar view. This four-bedroom home was used in the movie "Two for the Money" to represent a tycoon's house in Puerto Rico.
The contemporary home includes a gym, waterfront wine cellar, and a a designer kitchen. The upstairs rooms have glass walls facing the central living area which isn't so great for privacy but adds another level of light and airiness to this impressive home. Outside there is a waterfront pool and multiple deck areas for entertaining. The gated estate is outfitted with infra-red night vision cameras for extra security. This amazing residence took over four years to design and build and is listed at $11.98 million.

[Thanks, Ben!]

The location makes up for the interior of this house....and exterior for that matter.

ITA - Location and structure wise, this home has the potential to be one of the best ever shown here. Unfortunately, the Pier One meets IKEA meets Factory Car Outlet decor just isn't doing it. Looks incredibly cheap and disorganized.

I agree with the above comment, but this is an absolutely beautiful home and only needs new decorating at most homes do when they are purchased. People like to come in and put their own personality in the home. Stunning!
