Sony Ericsson teams up with Dolce & Gabbana for Jalou Mobile Phone

Fashion-conscious female consumers who feel like most of the mobile phones on the market are far too ugly and masculine for their taste should be excited by the Jalou. The new cell-phone from Sony Ericsson, its named derived from the French for "envy", was designed specifically with fashionistas in mind, packing a two-inch display, 3.2 megapixel camera that tags your photos with their geographic location, an FM radio tuner, stereo Bluetooth, and even a built-in mirror, all in a compact clamshell that's touted as shorter than a lip-stick.
The phone is styled to look like a piece of jewelry, and will be available in Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine and Onyx black. But for the truly fashion conscious, there's a special edition made in conjunction with Italian fashion super-house Dolce & Gabbana that upgrades with a special Sparkling Rose color and trimmed in 24-karat gold plating, and even comes with a special wireless headset to match.
