Kate Hudson Rents Out Her Home For $90,000 For The Summer

Celebrities often rent out their homes in Malibu for big bucks in August when the Southern California swelter sends everyone scurrying to the the beaches. These month rentals have hit six figures in past years. Radar Online reports that Kate Hudson's only getting $90,000 for her $10 million home but she's got a bonus that other celebs don't, her home was a gift. Hudson has been spending a lot of time in New York this summer with baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

Radar Online says that the home was a wedding present from her mother, Goldie Hawn when she married Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, whom she later divorced. However a listing of the rental from an LA Times report in 2007 when it was listed for $95,000 for the summer, said that the home belonged to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Either way the money earned by the rental stays in the family.
