More and more people are going longer between salon visits, growing out those high-maintenance highlights, missing out on much need trims or skimping on products. We've got a little relief today from a famous source. Sally Hershberger is an influential hairstylist famous for creating Meg Ryan's haircut, the "Sally Shagg" and appearing on the Bravo hairstyling reality show, Shear Genius. She had a long career working with some of the best photographers in the world including Herb Ritts, Steven Meisel, Annie Leibovitz and Helmut Newton. Sally has two salons, one in New York and one in Los Angeles and in 2008 created her self-titled hair care line, Sally Hershberger. The Sally Hershberger products all undergo testing by Sally herself at her eponymous New York City salon. Her latest line is called Shagg. Hershberger spoke with our sister blog Stylelist back in April and described the line as designed for layered hair to give the layers a boost. The shampoo, conditioner and styling products are light and help hair achieve more movement and body. A video about the line is after the jump.

The line is recession priced, nothing costs more than $12.50 and you can order it on her site or buy it at your local Walgreens. But we are making it more affordable for one lucky winner--free.
