The Jimmy Choo Bardia Buckled Hobo is a sexy bag for day or night.The second thing we noticed about the bag (first was the pretty goldtone buckles which give it its alluring shape) was the texture. This is shagreen-embossed calf leather.
What's "shagreen," you ask? It's a leather made from rough, untanned skin. If it looks familiar to you, it's probably because it's the same stuff you see on the hilts of swords and daggers (the texture is good for gripping). Now, this is just shagreen-embossed, but the roughness is definitely achieved, and the effect is a rugged elegance.
