Trumps's Former Palm Beach Mansion Part Of Major Divorce Dispute

The mansion that Donald Trump sold in Palm Beach, Florida last year might be at the center of a major divorce battle. Russian billionaire fertilizer mogul Dmitri Rybolovlev and his wife bought the house for $95 million back in 2008. Now Elena Rybolovlev says her husband has been unfaithful and she wants 50 percent of the couple's marital assets, a number she puts between $6 billion and $12 billion. One of the items at issue will be the 33,000-square-foot property. She has asked the court to take jurisdiction over property because she is worried her husband will begin hiding and transferring his assets. Already she says that an art and furniture collection worth around $670 million has been moved out of her reach.
The Palm Beach Post reports that in July 2008, through County Road Property, Rybolovlev paid $95 million cash for the home. Trump had bought the mansion for $41.35 million in 2004 and restored it, asking at one point, for $125 million for the home. Rybolovlev said he purchased the mansion as an investment, the couple spend most of their time in Switzerland. If he has to sell he might be in trouble. For a while Palm Beach was faring well amidst Florida's real estate turmoil but lately it seems like the bigger mansions are slower to move. One that we've been keeping an eye on, Casa Nana, has been on the market for $72.5 million since last summer. Check it out in the gallery below.

She does not deserve a fucking dime! What is she a hooker. Get rid of the 50% divorce laws. You get what you make or bring into a relationship. This will drive down the divorce rate and hoes just looking for money will no longer fuck guys with money.

Your post name says it all............. Get a life.
Donna Jul 4th 2009 10:31PM
Hey, DING DONG! I guess your comment doesn't include the men who use women for money, does it? If she never worked a day in her life, but married the loser to begin with, THAT ALONE entitles her to half just for putting up with all his bull$hit!
Lillian Jul 4th 2009 11:33PM
Hey...do you personally know these people to make such a comment? I didn't read in the article that she was a hooker. I think you should choose your words wisely before making such a statement.

I agree with you totally, I believe no matter if you have wealth or not, no one should be intitled to half of your assests unless they bought half into the marriage, they should leave with what they came with. Also, I do not believe anyone should be entitled to a person's retirement and if they have children that should be their only responsibility, couples should not have to pay alimony etc...go get a job unless your spouse made the house and children your employment throughout the marriage

Thats ok...you will never be able to experience either, due to the fact that not only do you NOT have any money, you have no brain cells! Like they say, "Ignorance is bliss...isn't it?"

the law must be ammended cos most of the bitches in recent times tries to enter into a relationship which they knew would later brake up and demand for their 50% share of another person's sweat and effort,to me its a legalise scam

cos= cause, brake= break, legalise= legalized..... ok now that we got your spelling fixed so you dont sound like the idiot you apparently are, i can comment. yes, some women enter into a marriage that dont believe it will work, why i dont know. most women i know would not marry some one thinking it will end in divorce, even though more then 50% of marriages end in it. second off apparently if the guy started cheating with in a year of buying a new house. for putting up with his shit and the risks he put her at for stds he could have caught make up for more then 50% of the assets gained in the marriage. there should be a law against cheating on your spouse, you are not only risking yourself but you husband/wife also. i say put his ass in jail and give her time to secure the property in the house before she loses more of it to him hiding it on her.

the article says that the couple purchased it so she does deserve half of it. i don't know there situation but if she wasn't rich before they got married im sure he knew that and still chose to marry her so that doesn't give him the right to cheat because he is rich. he should have thought about his fortune then. im not condoning women who sleeps with guys who have money but this is a marriage not just a woman sleeping with rich guys. if he were to respect his marriage vows as much as his money he wouldn't be in this situation. some guys wouldn't even get any pussy if they didn't have money so ding dong needs to shut up. I'm not calling this woman a gold digger but this comment is for men who think women are gold diggers, if your stupid enough to marry a gold digger i don't feel sorry for you.

You are such a nice guy Courtneymajor. I am glad to see that somewhere in this planet there still someone out there that has brain and principle. DingDong carries his character - so, don't bother. Somehow, he still have a tiny brain. There are some women who really are taking advantage of some man ESPECIALLY OLDER MAN. Well, everybody has to make a choice - he married her - he still wants to fool around - probably, he deserve it.

These people are Russians. He made off with scads of state assets at firesale prices with backdoor credit back in the Yeltsin days. He is not a self made man, but someone who got access and favors through Tatanija Yeltsin (daughter, who also made guys like Roman Abrahamovic billionaires at age 33). This guy's "Wife" didn't have two nickles to rub together when she hooked up with him, and now acting all shocked that he's doing what Russian oligarchs do is silly. She's just looking to make off with as much as possible so she can go bang the pool boy in Monaco. That whole scene with those lowlifes is a barbarian soap opera. IRS should seize the place for kicks.

Are you a man or a woman lol. What you said makes absolutely no sense! It's men like you who make unjust and unfair laws until they become a victim of their own stupidity. A woman should not be given half of a man's wealth simply because of divorce, even if infidelity was the cause of the divorce. Let me ask you a question? Have you ever cheated on your girlfriend or wife (that's if you're not gay as you appear to be)? Nevermind, I'll answer the question for you- yes! Most people (men and woman) have cheated on their girlfriends, wives, boyfriends, and husbands at one point in their lives. I'm not trying to justify infidelity by ANY means, but the statistics are a reality that must be acknowledged. And as far as I'm concerned, the "50%" law was not made in acknowledgment of reality. You literally have people murdering their spouses as a result of this unjust and unfair law. Not even in the Bible does it state that a man ( or even a woman for that matter) should forfeit half their wealth in divorce. So you figure it out! But oh, I forgot, you're gay, so you would be pleased to give your "ass penetrator" half of your wealth lol.

WHOA!! With all the "bitches" and "doesn't deserve" comments, there are definitely a lot of men on the boards. Get this......HE entered into the marriage and whatever they purchased DURING the marriage is to be split 50/50. There are A LOT of rich men and/or rich women out there who marry someone who doesn't earn/worth as much. Marriage is not a business - it is a partnership and not when it is convenient for the other.
