Wake up people take a look at the three letters that stand for bank of america BOA and all of us know exactly what a freaking BOA is , it is a freaking sneaky ass snake that preys on the weak and vunrable people. I wouldn't do business with the likes of those corporate hard ons if my life depended on it. The biggest problem is that the majority of Americans will complain about government or gas prices or food prices and so on but get out and vote these crooks out of office hell no they say my vote won't change things . Instead of boycotting these thieves at the oil companies who raise gas prices for no reason other then the fact they are greedy corporate A-holes and instead of boycotting them we continue to give them our hard earned money . Big corporations and the government think that they are better then the average American but little do they know no matter how much money they get from Americans buy hook or crook ,they put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us because it is written that all people are created equal .When it comes to Justice what you see is what you get ? who is in our jails answer its JUST US not them b ecause they have laws for regular people and then they have laws for the rich and anal people . We owe the IRS tax money and if we don't pay we go directly to jail . The rich cheat on their taxes and owe the IRS money their punishment is they get an application to work for President Obama. I would like to know how we as Americans allowed the high powered hard ons destroy our country and make it theirs . It is time for us to stand up and bring America back to the days of glory where many other countries used to look up to the USA as an example of peace freedom and equality for all.

I have had it with BOA!!! I've been with them for years...with my business was strong; now when I'm coping with the economic "slow down", they're kicking me while I'm down!!
I recently made a cash deposit in the morning and proceeded to take care of business and bills with my debit card. The next morning I went online to check my account and realized that I had accidentally made my deposit into my business account instead of personal. I quickly transferred the money back.
No charges showed at that time but by the end of the day they hit me for eleven $35.00 NSF fees!!
I went into the bank to go over the error and since it was not a bank error, "their hands were tied" and could not make any adjustments for me!! Almost $500.00 to pull from nowhere in time to stop the snowball effect!!
I am closing my personal, business and savings account as soon as my last check clears AND I will never stay in one of their hotels even tho I frequent Charlotte and St.Augustine. I hope they lose everything!!
I also promise to make use of every opportunity to blog and comment on my disapproval of the company.

What is BofA doing operating a hotel? It has been illegal for a bank to own an industrial company, except as the immediate result of a foreclosure, and even then they were supposed to dispose of their interest as quickly as practicable.
Oh, well, I guess as a ward of the Obama government the bank has no need to observe the law. Everything else this administration undertakes is beyond the law, so why not a bank owning a hotel?

it is just something else that obama will own, he is making our country into socialists. we need to get rid of this garbage before he destroys our country completely

We the taxpayers certainly got butt f***ed when this bailout went through. The banks out and out LIED to get this money and how they were going to use the money. It was supposed to loosen up the credit market and allow people to get credit again. Well, this didn't happen. But, BofA builds a Ritz-Carlton? Perhaps they should have halted the construction when the bottom fell out of their insititution! And, of course, it had to be a RITZ, and not a Holiday Inn. Maybe the taxpayers can stay there for free---because, well, aren't we the ones who paid for it? We should own that hotel!

Tonya..........it is true they are charging 35.00 for overdraft....
These banks are out of control....>Where is the CHANGE that was coming???

Sux. Bush gives banks bailout money, at Taxpayer's expense~the bank~BOA~uses it for the wealthy, & the middle class gets poorer.
BOB May 31st 2009 7:38PM
Our tax dollars at work. Perhaps BOA should consider opening a luxury bank? You know one where the customer gets a fair return instead of getting robbed. You know where the bank takes in and protects the money of its customers instead of giving it out to its executives. Just a thought.

ANSWER IS CREDIT UNION ! YOU WILL THEN BE PART OWNER.
Nancy May 31st 2009 8:04PM
LOL Banks are probably the only ones who can afford to build anything. I think BOA should help their customers, who lived within their means & have been paying all along, to get the best rate possible. Everyone else stand in line. Everybody has a crisis but those of us who are responsible end up footing the bill..when we are innocent.

Regardless if it's BofA or not, designing for LEED from the get-go is incredibly important for sustainability and responsibility. I live in Illinois and we just got our first LEED certified hotel, Hotel Arista. I’ve done some snooping on the website-- http://www.hotelarista.com -- and they do all sorts of things to conserve that include some high-end technology that not a lot of businesses are using. Let's just hope hotels continue this responsibility.
