While both appear to have British origins ("graeg"), "grey" is more common in the UK, Canada, and other parts of the world, while "gray" is the spelling found most often in the US.  Interestingly, words that have "grey" as a part the "compound" word, such as "greyhound", do not generally have a version using "gray", e.g., in this case, "grayhound" is not an accepted alternative to "greyhound".]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Jaye]]></dc:creator><pubDate>May 20th 2009 9:35PM</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Comments on A.
