Gary DePersia's Hamptons Summer Rentals

The weeks before Memorial Day are always huge for real estate agents who rent in the Hamptons. LXTV recently did an interview with Gary DePersia of Corcoran (video after the jump) which inspired me to look at what he has on offer this year. For last minute renters with lots of cash you can rent the 2005 Hamptons Idea house in Bridgehampton for $450,000 from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This one was our estate of the day over a year ago and has seen huge price drops, from an original $18 million to now being listed for sale at $8.45 million. It is an eight-bedroom mansion on 2.7 acres and includes a 40-foot-by-40-foot pool.

Newsday's Real LI also mentioned a five-bedroom home on DePersia's list in Wainscott which is available for Memorial Day to Labor Day for $350,000. That one has been rented by a variety of celebrities including Dina and Lindsay Lohan and Calvin Klein.

DePersia has a variety of six figure rentals in the Hamptons but for those of more modest means there are a few cheaper options including this very cute three-bedroom in East Hampton for $13,000 for June/July.
