Lockheart Avant Garden Satchel, Handbag of the Day
We've loved Lockheart awhile, and we love this Avant Garden Satchel. Desginers Jennifer Tash and Trang Huynh (who created Isabella Fiore) describe themselves as "flea market junkies, treasure hunters, and compulsive tinkerers." You can really see those influences in the Avant Garden Satchel.
Statement bags like this are hard to pull off, but extravagant leather detailing, which we have come to expect from Lockheart, never fails to impress. These bags just get better with age -- as the leather softens and shows wear, they look lived in, comfortable, and very classic.
This richly textured satchel is just 11"W x 7"H x 7"D, and is the perfect plump, purple plum colored accessory for a day in the park.

I'm so glad you mentioned the amazing quality of the leather on lockheart bags! it is so true--the 2 lockheart bags I have wear wonderfully and are so soft. Love the color of this bag! It is perfect for summer.

I love the flowers and the color. The flowers are not over done and add a lot of feminism. I really like this designer!
