Million Dollar Brandy Plans Jewelry Line

Back in 2007 we covered the efforts by Mendis International Inc., to create the the million dollar bottle of coconut brandy for a million dollars. Now the company has signed an agreement with gemologist Jean Luma, under the design house of Luxe Coterie, Inc., to create new limited collections of Mendis Coconut Brandy as well as a jewelry line. Luxe Coterie will create pieces under the Mendis and Luma names, co-branded "ML" and the jewelry will be paired with individually numbered bottles of Mendis Coconut Brandy. Two years later and there is still just the one bottle of million dollar brandy but now you can also get these snazzy unicorn cufflinks decorated with cognac diamonds,

Mendis will be offering a tasting at the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix onboard the yacht Lady Lola. And the million dollar bottle will finally hit the auction block later this year.
