Did Paris Hilton Vandalize a Veyron?

Police in Los Angeles have questioned celebutante Paris Hilton after several of her new neighbors' cars were vandalized including a $1.4 million Bugatti Veyron. The incident occurred on Monday night at the starlet's Hollywood Hills house where she's just moved back in following a long renovation. Hilton threw a welcome back party that went on until 4 a.m., causing neighbors to complain to the police, TMZ reports. The same neighbors woke up to find their cars keyed and egged, apparently in revenge. In addition to the Veyron, two Bentleys and two Maseratis were also trashed. The cops are still investigating.

How incredably stupid someone has to be to park a Veyron anywhere but in a secure garage...even for the Hollywood Hills that is difficult to fathom. I am sympathetic to the owner, but still...it' shouldn't have been out where anyone could see it. much less harm it....(I have lived out there so I understand the urge to show-off your car, but a Veyron is easily a 1.5 million dollar work of art ...I think I could manage to show off a little less.)

Agreed. I don't park my Veyron or Aston Martin (it's only a Vantage though) outside when I am at home. Even if I did, vandals would still have to get through the gate at the driveway. I learned my lesson when one of my older Mercedes' had a tire slashed by a crazy chick.

Casting fault on the owner for the vandalism - for not surrounding it with a security force?
I'll bet you guys would blame a female who was raped for having tits.

You'd not be collecting on that bet, lad.
Sadly this world is amuck with people who will mess with what you have just because they don't have the same thing you have; thus making the need for security necessary...
But you already know that...

One of the wonderful things of not having all that EXTRA cash to throw around. The people in my neighborhood all have WORKED hard for their money and belongings and all understand. The value of WORK seems to have escaped these freaks of overendulgence and they have no respect for any one much less them selves. When you WORK for something it means a lot more to you and others property tends to be much more valuable as you know what it takes to WORK for it. Idea lets tax the crap out of them so we all can be equal as we all are in the eyes of our Father in heaven
