--Ving Rhames has put another Brentwood home on the market. This one, shown above, is listed for $6.85 million. He already has one on the market for $2.699 million.
--Vocalist and DJ SA Martinez of the band 311 has sold his house in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighborhood for $1.64 million, it was listed for $2.195 million when it was our estate of the day last year.
--Jewel has sold her home in the Hollywood Hills for $1.4 million.
From Cityfile's Buyers and Sellers:
--Irish investor Derek Quinlan bought the townhouse at 20 East 64th Street in 2006 for $26.25 million and later put it up for rent for $90,000 a month now it is for sale for $37 million. The listing is here.
--Media investor Michael Chambers, a son of Raymond Chambers, the co-founder of Wesray Capital and a former owner of the Nets paid $2.75 million for a loft at 140 Thompson Street.
--Daily Show executive producer David Javerbaum and his wife Debra have gone into contract to sell their apartment at 144 West 18th Street. The apartment with a living room full of Emmy awards was most recently listed at $1.55 million.
--via Curbed, TeleBank co-founder David Smilow's duplex penthouse at 140 Perry Street, which was listed for $19.5 million late last year has been pulled from the market.
--via the NY Post, ghree of disgraced lawyer Marc Dreier's Hamptons homes are about to hit the market.
--Lisa Bonder Kerkorian, the ex-wife of billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, has gone into contract to sell her Bridgehampton mansion. It was originally listed for $16.3 million but is said to be selling for under its most recent asking price of $7.9 million.
--Hedge funder Jason Capello paid $15.45 million for a four-bedroom condo at 40 East 66th Street. A few months ago he sold his 72nd floor apartment at the Time Warner Center for $16.25 million.
--Former Yankee Bobby Abreu has put his 37th-floor condo at One Beacon Court back on the market for $7.9 million, the same price it was when it was our estate of the day in January.

--Actor Anthony Clark has put a third home on the market (he already has two other hopes up for sale). The three-bedroom home in Los Angeles has been freshly remodeled and is listed for $1.995 million.
--Music manager Paul Rosenberg has listed his TriBeCa triplex for $4.95 million. The listing is here.
--Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are renting a $28.5 million mansion in Los Angeles.
--Songwriters and music producers Graham and Lauren Edwards have listed their four-bedroom home in Tarzana, California for $2.999 million. The compound includes a separate sound-proof studio. The pair also own the house next door which they have listed for $1.999 million.

--Hedge funder Bill Ackman and his wife Karen have put their two-terrace co-op at the Majestic up for sale for $10 million. The listing is here.
--The townhouse at 12 East 78th Street belonging to Marisa Noel Brown, the daughter of disgraced Fairfield Greenwich Group founder Walter Noel, and her husband Matt is set to hit the market. The pair bought the home for $13.5 million in 2008 and spent millions renovating but the fallout from the Madoff scandal means that his home may list for just $11.5 million.

-- Bill and Hillary Clinton are looking for a bigger house or two. They have reportedly been looking for a weekend home in Willow, a hamlet of Woodstock in the foothills of the Catskills. They are also searching for something closer to their Chappaqua home and are checking out other towns in Westchester for a larger estate.
--Madonna continues to house hunt in the Hamptons and Westchester.
--James Gandolfini is in contract for a $7 million penthouse at the Fairchild building at 55 Vestry St.
--Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts have been spotting checking out a $5.4 million unit at the Pearline Soap Factory and David Schwimmer looked at a $2 million duplex in Pearline, where Justin Timberlake already owns a unit.
--Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and his wife Amber have paid $1.5 million for a plot of land next to the 12,000-square-foot home they recently acquired in Alpine, NJ for $15 million.

--The home that served as the disputed property in the movie "House of Sand and Fog" has come on the market for $1.999 million. The listing for the two-bedroom home, which sits on more than an acre in Malibu, is here.
--The Dinah Shore home in Palm Springs which I wrote about last month as an estate of the day belongs to sitcom writer-director-producer David Lee who has listed it at $5.95 million.

--Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have bought movie producer Brian Grazer's Los Angeles house for roughly $17.5 million. That number is far less than the original asking price of $27.5 million.
--Fashion photographer and designer Hedi Slimane has paid $4.1 million for a house in Beverly Hills, California.
--The wife of imprisoned former Cendant Corp. Chairman Walter A. Forbes has cut the price of their suburban Connecticut estate by 16 percent to $9.4 million, from $11.25 million. We checked out this estate, Wisteria Hill, as an estate of the day last year.
