Hitler's Paintings Sell For Thousands

This sad little watercolor scene would not be of any real note except for the fact that the artist was Adolf Hitler. This is one of a series of pieces painted by Adolf Hitler that sold for over 100,000 euros this week through Mullock's Art Auctioneers in London. Richard Westwood-Brookes from Mullock's said that the pieces were only expected to sell for a few thousand, the piece above was estimated at £1000 to £1500. Hitler was rejected twice by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the early 1900s.

Like MUCH of the art world.... this was bought by the buyer for the artists name, not his work.
I think art is the biggest "fools game" since "jewelry".
My wife is smoking hot and nobody is asking about her jewelry because the jewelry is so great, (because we don't have means)... it a way to open up a door and think you'll like something on the other side.
Art work is just a hand job for the wealthy as are jewels.
A Diamond is just coal that set under ground longer...
throw that in your furnace.
If you fell you need to impress through wealth, it because "the little things that took your breath away" are long gone.
Worship an idol.
