Jeweler Scott Kay To Open Invite-Only Shop

Most jewelers would do anything to tempt you inside their store but to get inside the doors at Scott Kay's new shop you'll have to earn your way in. Scott Kay, who is famous for his woven platinum designs for men and women, is creating a flagship store called SK66. The store will be open by invitation only. Kay has said the store will serve as a museum to his love of fine arts and jewelry and will offer unique designs and historical items. National Jeweler reports that SK66 should open this fall but a location has not yet been revealed.

Amazing - totally the way forward. I love the bespoke feeling to this, and the exclusivity. Although is it a little too exclusive I wonder? Jewellery should always feel decadent and exceedingly luxury however and this is certainly a way to do that.

This guy is a joke. He copies other designers. He should spend less time stroking his own ego and more time actually coming up with some worthwhile jewelry. He and his invite-only store won't last.

I agree Jay...THIS GUY IS A JOKE. HIS EGO IS SO HUGE THAT HE DOESN'T EVEN REALIZE HOW ARROGANT AND DISGUSTING THIS SO-CALLED MUSEUM THAT IS INVITATION ONLY MAKES HIM LOOK.
He is openly admitting that he only wants wealthy people that are famous and swimming in money. In a time when the world of humans need to gain a higher level of consciousness and learn to let go of their man-made illusion of fame and materialistic sick ways...Scott Kay is leading the sheeple right into the future of the most out-dated way of thinking and living.
His massive marketing of his supposed "better" products are just another way to draw the clueless into his web so he can empty their wallets into his.
Now he is on yet another crusade to try and make everyone believe that his stupid cobalt rings are better than tungsten. The only true fine jewelry is made of platinum or gold...period. The rest is simply for those on a budget and there is nothing wrong with that. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH SCOTT KAY IS HIS EGO AND THAT HE CONTINUES TO PREACH LIKE HE IS THE LAST WORD IN FINE JEWELRY. THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER NON-COMMERCIAL DESIGNERS OUT THERE THAT MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE JUST ANOTHER CORPORATE MONEY-HUNGRY FOOL.
