Jeweler Scott Kay To Open Invite-Only Shop

Most jewelers would do anything to tempt you inside their store but to get inside the doors at Scott Kay's new shop you'll have to earn your way in. Scott Kay, who is famous for his woven platinum designs for men and women, is creating a flagship store called SK66. The store will be open by invitation only. Kay has said the store will serve as a museum to his love of fine arts and jewelry and will offer unique designs and historical items. National Jeweler reports that SK66 should open this fall but a location has not yet been revealed.

Amazing - totally the way forward. I love the bespoke feeling to this, and the exclusivity. Although is it a little too exclusive I wonder? Jewellery should always feel decadent and exceedingly luxury however and this is certainly a way to do that.

This guy is a joke. He copies other designers. He should spend less time stroking his own ego and more time actually coming up with some worthwhile jewelry. He and his invite-only store won't last.
