Pebble Beach Food & Wine Experience
When it comes to premier tasting events typically Aspen's Food & Wine Classic sits atop the list but another, young event is creeping up in status, easily challenging Aspen's offerings. The picturesque Del Monte Forest, also known as Pebble Beach, hosts the 2nd Annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine Experience from April 16-19 offering exclusive dining, tasting and educational opportunities. Learn and savor culinary excellence from world-renowned chefs, taste some of the most sought-after wines across the globe, and make your own schedule with a la carte choices or package deals. The culmination of 250 legendary wineries and 60 celebrity chefs is too good to miss. Prices start at just $100 for wine tastings and reach $4,750 for four days of VIP access to any of the weekend's festivities. [via Vinography]

This event is, as the name implies, in Pebble Beach, California, not in Carmel. Separate towns, both beautiful. Please make the correction to your text.

Thanks to Rob Weakley, David Bernhadl and the Pebble Beach Co for creating this special event. The collection of 4000 foodies and winos LOL will be a big kick in the economy. I know we expect it to create business for us at http://GarlicShoppe.com & http://RapazziniWinery as people travel to and from Pebble Beach. All that great food, the star chefs there to actaully meet and chat with as well as the delicious wines and their makers will contribute nicely to the local charities in this challenging year. I for one am very glad these two guys had the perseverence to make this headlining event happen.
