Rent The Hilton House For The Summer
If you've got $400,000 to spare you can spend the summer in the Hamptons, Paris-Hilton style. A home in Water Mill, New York belonging to Rick Hilton, Paris Hilton's father, is up for rent this summer. According to Newsday, the Hiltons are asking for $400,000 for the Memorial Day-to-Labor Day season. The 10,000-square-foot traditional-style home has six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and a freeform heated pool. The house is on 2.7 acres of hedged property. But before you get out your checkbook, you might want to check out a few stories that have appeared about the home in 2007. Apparently the renters that year weren't too pleased with the accommodations. The Real Estalker revealed that the home, which then rented for around $350,000 was said to be in shabby condition. The home also rented out in 2008 but no further tales of woe surfaced.
The home is located conveniently near Southampton Village and has deeded ocean access. I've located what appears to be the listing which shows a large living room with fireplace and French doors, a formal dining room, multiple dens and a rather fussy and floral decorating style.

Horrible! You would think that with all of the money that they have, they would actually decorate, not just throw things in the rooms. I would not stay here. It is a dump!!

I just love the fact that some are going to be immediately attracted to this place purely based on the Hilton association and therefore part with the 400K. It's a complete turn off for me. I like to go on holiday and NOT contract every conceivable sexually transmitted disease from soft furnishings.
