Hmm, my favorite board game is long since discontinued. It was a game called "Talisman" by Games Workshop.
Yehuda Berlinger Mar 16th 2009 11:38AM
Not discontinued. Just in a fourth version. Check out BoardGameGeek.com . You might like a number of games from Fantasy Flight Games, too.
My favorite game is Puerto Rico.

My favorite board game is actually backgammon. My uncle taught me how to play when I was in my teens and the game now remains as my favorite board game.
Second favorite board game is checkers. It's a classic, easy to play on a whim.

A Persian guy I know is fanatical about Backgammon... He's always trying to get me into it.
Maybe with this rather posh kit I'll finally take the plunge. Somehow though, I'm a bit worried I might get addicted to it, hahaha :)

Backgammon is without question my favorite board game and this is a beautiful set. There is something about a high quality backgammon set, the heft and smoothness of the pieces that is very satisfying.

My favorite game is Rummikub, but backgammon is a close second.

My favorite board game is monopoly. As a kid we played for hours. When we got older (and wiser) we switched to backgammon. :)
