Las Vegas Mogul Searches For The Most Boring City

Las Vegas Sands head Sheldon Adelson has a new mission, to find America's most boring city. His move is a response to President Obama's criticisms of companies getting bailouts spending money on activities including trips to Las Vegas. Adeslon has vowed to conduct a survey and provide a prize for people who will submit the name of the worst city in the country to go to, where people will enjoy it the least. As he sees it, that's the very opposite of Las Vegas, a place where everyone goes for a good time. Adelson might want to start his search with this list which gives top honors to Chula Vista, California.

I nominate Las Vegas. Seriously. It's just below Hollywood in the "nothing here is real" category.

A reporter should always verify a story. You've been suckered. This was just an off the wall comment of the moment.
That was March 5th, and since then nothing. Adelson doesn't need a new mission; his every moment is consumed trying to stave off bankruptcy for his company.
Were there a competition to enter, W.C. Fields gave the classic answer.
He described a contest for which the second prize was two weeks all expenses paid in Philadelphia, and the first prize was one week all expenses paid in Philadelphia.

After living all over the country, including Las Vegas and the Washington, DC area, I must say there's no partying like partying in Vegas. Most who bash Vegas are intimidated by it. You can get lost in Vegas and Vegas will definitely turn you out if you let it.
