Carlos Falchi Hand Painted Python Hobo, Handbag of the Day

We gasped when we saw this beautifully painted handbag by Carlos Falchi. A warning to the squeamish and/or Californians among you, though: It's python.

(And you can't get python in California.)

This white python skin bag is hand painted with bright, springy flowers in a sweeping, elegantly abstract design. On the Bergdorf Goodman website, you can zoom in to see the detail of how the brush strokes across the scales, giving the look of the of bag texture and dimension.

This gorgeous, decadent bag is 20"H x 20"W x 8"D, and includes a top zipper with a tassel toggle.

The Carlos Falchi Hand Painted Python Hobo is available from Bergdorf Goodman for $3,995.
