It Comes With A Ferrari And A Maserati, Estate of the Day

Last week I brought you a California home that came with a free Ferrari. In Kings Point, New York, they've upped the ante. Buy this six-bedroom home and the seller will throw in both a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Maserati Gran Turismo. The home is on 1.66 acres with views of the new York City skyline. It has a double-story foyer, library with a mahogany floor and a spiral staircase which leads to a third floor sitting area and observation deck. The cars are worth around $500,000 combined and the home is listed at $9.95 million.

Library... library... oh, the room with the tacky tv-over-the-fireplace, the hideous fat vulgar leather chairs and one small bookcase in the corner... is that supposed to be the library?! Bookfreaks the world over send these people a large raspberry. Also, am I the only one who gets a pleasantly nasty told-you-so feeling about these people who despoiled nice areas with their huge horrible houses and are now getting a comeuppance when they're stuck with them?

The only thing that makes this place worth $9.95 mil is it's proximity to NYC. If it were anywhere else, I doubt it would fetch over $2 mil, tops.

I love the kitchen, but that's about it.

the only way this would be worth $10mio is if the owner threw in 6 ferrari enzos.
you can find a spectacular waterfront place in kings park or the surrounding areas for $5-7mio. this should not be going for more than $3.5mio, at best.
someone should tell the realtor/seller its 2009, not 2005. either the realtor doesnt have a clue or the owner is smoking crack.

Kings Point is NOWHERE near Kings Park. It's an extremely exclusive enclave in Great Neck. Given the superb location, pricing is pretty in line for the neighborhood.
