Trek Wine Karafe

Okay, this makes me want to bust out laughing -- who needs to lug wine around in a portable aluminum carafe like a bottle of water? Wine is hardly good for drinking while exercising, and for a picnic you could just bring the bottle... am I missing something here? I must be, because this Trek Wine Carafe is a real product that's for sale over at Sahalie. Advertised as perfect for taking "to the office, to town, or on a hike," the Wine Karafe is just the right size to hold a 750ml bottle of wine and is made of lightweight stainless steel that promises to leave the contents "clean and fresh tasting," with no added chemical or residue flavors. Could make an interesting gift for a wine lover, $24.95

for backpacking, when weight is everything carrying a glass bottle is too heavy. the glass is also easy to break.

This is actually brilliant! Any outdoor water activities where glass can be dangerous and in many cases not allowed: poolside, the beach, day boating...I've been dying for this for my Florida home by the beach!
