The winter season does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. It feels like winter has just begun for some of us across the US and London. I suppose the bitter cold, windy, chilly and snowing days allows us to keep rocking our winter gear in style. Although these coyote boots by Oscar de la Renta may not be ideal for a snowstorm, they certainly will look unbelievably amazing with a pair of tight fitting dark jeans, a loose yet long beige cashmere sweater as you sit by a warm fireplace in a snow lodge. Yeah - they're those kind of boots.
Price $798.

Nothing makes me feel more glamorous than dead animal skin...its funny how the moron in the article tries to match the cadaver with the outfit...real classy.

I once saw a tv show of how they get the fur from the animals. It was a tv show about burlington coat factory selling coats with dog fur on the collars. Well this is going to be pretty straigt forward so if you are queezy please dont read the rest of this post.
They put a leash on the dog (a german shepard) and the dog though it was going for a walk or something, since his tail was wagging. Well, they tied the least to a post and lifted the dogs rear leg and started de-skinning him right there while he was still alive. Now doesnt that make you want to rush right out and buy something made of fun? Does it matter if it is a dog, mink or coyote? It would take a special person to have that job of de-skinning animals for someones idea of luxury!
So think about that the next time you buy something with fur on it.

Those barbaric practices you mentioned are actually rather limited - mostly to China, as far as I know. So, please don't think that everyone in the industry skins animals alive.

Very chic and hott!
This will go great with my sable coats I bought a month ago. Then again, it's a month old, so I think it's time for trashing it and buying a new one. Gotta stay with the times.
Canine cashmere seems interesting...
Damn dogs are barking up a storm. BRB

Back. Forgot to add my sable furs are fair trade... in case anyone thought I didn't like animals, which I most certainly do!
