Miley Cyrus Trades The Porsche For A Prius

In December we heard that pop star Miley Cyrus was driving around her mother's old Porsche Cayenne as she learned to drive. Now the sixteen-year-old has gotten her own new car. Her father Billy Ray Cyrus brought her a Prius.

On Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Miley explained that the Cayenne was both too large (a 'big ol' tank' in her words) and not very green.

The Cayenne has been sold to a family friend and now Miley joins the many Hollywood folk who own a Prius.

Until American car makers start giving us quality vehicles that don't suck gas, I'll stick to the reliability that I've come to expect from Honda and Toyota. I tried Dodge and Chrysler and was burned enough by both to steer away from anything made by either for a very long time.

It is AMERICAN people that support your high life style and many american dollars that you life very confortable with. How about giving back to America. You could have bought an American Hybred. Come on Billy Ray give it back to those you make a living off of. Disapointed in your loyalty

scam scam scam Look at the REAL numbers for production, maintenance and disposal. The crappy little Prius has a BIGGER foot print than a freakin Hummer for christ sake!!!! BUT because its a "hybrid" all the greens "think" its green. What a bunch of sheep do your research. Go buy a real green car like a 50+ mpg VW or similar. The Prius is B/S perpetuated by the media elites. Plain and simple, DO YOUR RESERCH

I am so sick of hearing about what Miley Cyris is doing - the media needs to ease up on the coverage of her - its way too, much and no one really cares what soap she use clothes she wears, car she drives, makeup she wears. For her or him to buy a Toyota Prius is a slap in the American peoples face. when it American parents who may or may not be facing foreclosure, unemployment or other economic disaster who purchased her recordings yes, she spent our American dollars on an import! There are several GM, Ford etc. Hybrids on the market - and with so many mindless followers will now go out and buy one just because she has one. People where would she be if she wasn't his daughter, she lip sinks just like every other artist. The recording studio makes the voice! There is no way in hell anyone can sing live "exactly" like the recordings so therefore they are lip sinking- It is what it is why pretend to be all that when you really aren't - do you think that you will wither away like the other no talent artist's before you - Someday you will fall on hard times - Disney should throw you the curb and see how far you get - You may or may not make it - So what !!!! The worlk doesn't revolve around you. Why don't you move to Japan ?

Miley, we know that you've been shoved ahead by your father's connections and that you're just another self centered, spoiled little tart who's never suffered for or earned your way up the ladder. I haven't forgotten about the nude shower photos and those with you posing with dad as though he's your lover. Some idiot in a Honda CrV hit me because he didn't feel like stopping at a red light! He clipped my rear end and the damage isn't too bad. The front end of his overpriced piece of crap didn't look too good though! I wouldn't take Prius if you gave me one. They have had too many recalls and I like to do the basic maintenance on my vehicle. You can't do any of that with a Prius and you have to take it to a shop that specializes in that car system. No thanks to higher cost of upkeep. I'm a woman who likes to check the basics and I'm glad my Dad taught me how to do it. I doubt Miley even knows what a spare is let alone how to change it.
