Miley Cyrus Trades The Porsche For A Prius
In December we heard that pop star Miley Cyrus was driving around her mother's old Porsche Cayenne as she learned to drive. Now the sixteen-year-old has gotten her own new car. Her father Billy Ray Cyrus brought her a Prius. On Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Miley explained that the Cayenne was both too large (a 'big ol' tank' in her words) and not very green.
The Cayenne has been sold to a family friend and now Miley joins the many Hollywood folk who own a Prius.

Great job Miley, you are a reference group leader for all the new teenagers out there and hopefully we can instill a sense of responsibility with the future generation because honestly my generation has been taught some terrible morals and ethics and social responsibility. It is going to be hard to reverse our own standards and norms, but we can have a better start with the next generation.

I cannot because I'm scared being out on the streets with these young people driving not thinking don't see the red or stop signs. I call them fantasy or raging Driver, now check this out you have wonder type of sitting side who maybe full of rage, some time look ove see many smoking weed and their eye's glassy, so you know not to look into there eye because you might get road rage.
Remember This : Who's driving beside to you, some older people haven't learn to drive, so the DMV Dropping bad driver out there every accept Sunday Because Sunday Driver On Route Drive moving slowly just like you just don't care.Remember little driver who can't see over the steering wheel under 16 years old who cannot see where thy are going.
So Pray why you drive

She swapped one cliched status symbol for another.
Get rid of the private jet and that would make a real statement!

Well, she's obviously not a car enthusiast. A Prius over a Cayenne? I would never, but then again, every part of my life isn't scrutinized by the press either.

She should drive a 'tank' for the first year or two. My son was forced to drive a DUSTER years ago. (parental choice) An old man (80s) pulled out in front of him in a light weight car. His car was destroyed, while my son didn't even get a bruise. (Not my son's fault, but he was safe none the less.)

She may be huge and rich, but she is smart. A Prius may not be as flashy, fast, or expensive as a Porsche, but it she got one anyway because of a few good reasons. Hell, for her to even insure a Porsche would require a couple platinum records a month!
On the other hand, I don't really think a Porsche should be the car to learn to drive on. I learned on a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle when I was 14. I bought it in great condition for $4K, all of which I had worked 2 summers for (350 hrs). I recently put another $3K of my hard earned money in it. Now I just got my license and my beautiful trophy winner is all I drive. It's a 4 speed, no power steering, no power brakes, no frills, none of that. It's reliable, super cheap to fix to this day, parts are exceptionally easy to come by (most parts I get at Auto Zone), it has 46hp though geared to perfection, what is not to like about it for a first car? I have $7K and a good 120hrs of work in it, plus it wins trophies, would I ever risk it?

What kinda idiot trades a Porsche for a Toyota lol. Like me trading my Mercedes for a Suzuki or some shit lol. This whole green shit is a farce anyway. And if they wanted it to be done all cars could get 50mpg including hummers thats a fact. We use Venturi based systems in our cars when we should be using Vapor control systems. Its been done and proven..

You know some kids look up to Miley. So she should dress and obey the rules like any other teenager. She should be concious that when she breaks the rule like riding her bike without a helmet then other kids think they can do the same. She is the one that needs the kids to keep her going. Without them she would not be nothing. Also when poiseing with her dad, it looks alot better when they poise as Father and Daughter. Not like a couple

Why did the family buy a foreign car? When the American economy is in serious decline, one would think that buying an American car, such as a Ford Escape Hybrid would send a message that the Cyrus' care about America and the American worker.
