Actually for the B-H TV series the facade of the Clampett clan used under agreement the Kirkeby Mansion (c 1938) located at 750 Bel Air Road, Bel Air CA. It is owned today by Forbes 400 member Jerry Perenchio who served as the Nat'l Co-Finance Dir for Sen. John McCain's failed presidential campaign.

I'm little impressed by the Sapersteins - he or she - and their lack of tact in the equestrian world. This charmless, cold edifice is like many new homes a reflection of the people who built this. I still recall the silly pic of Suzanne in her incorrect dressage-cum-dominatrix attire with the rear facade of Fleur de Lys behind her for Vanity Fair earlier in the decade.

Like their Hummingbird Ranch, also on the market at an inflated ego price, neither will sell for anywhere near the price being asked.
