Barack Obama's Holiday Vacation Rental

President-elect Barack Obama is enjoying one last vacation in Hawaii, where he grew up, before his inauguration. The Obama family will be staying in a $9 million single-story oceanfront home fronting Kailua Beach. The home sits on a dead-end road with few other homes making it easier for the Secret Service to protect. The home was originally built in 1934 for Harold K.L. Castle, the landowner who developed much of Kailua after World War II and was renovated in 2005. The home is listed on a vacation rental directory, http://www.hawaiisbestrentals.com and given the description it appears to be this one which rents for $2500-$3500 a night. The home is less than a mile from another beach house where the Obama family stayed during August vacation. Given the weather in most of the U.S. it sounds like the best place to stay warm over the holidays.

Now maybe he'd like to spread the wealth like his Socialist ass would like to do to the rest of us hard working high earners. If this was Palin or any other Conservative, it'd be smuttified all over the place, but since this is the O-King carried on a white cloud by media whores, it's just Obama's family taking their self-entitled vacay in the sunshine. Hope they brought their sunscreen.

Our economy stinks...Obama says he'll fix it....they get after the top 3 car dealers for flying jets to Washington instead of going together and doing something to save money, then Obama turns around and spends between $2500 - $3500 a day on a place to relax at....I'm sure he could of found a cheaper place....GOOD EXAMPLE OBAMA , YOU ARE REALLY TELLING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHAT YOU ARE ALL ABOUT

I cant believe the ignorance I'm seeing on here. Do people hate black people that much??? Last I heard, a person is entitled to to spend their money the way they want to. So what he paid for an expensive rental for the holidays. I'm sure its his hard earned money. Seems like people want criticize every little thing this guy does. Maybe its because their just ignorant and predjudice, and wont give him a chance to do his. Maybe he should try to fix the whole economy with money out of pocket lol will that make you ignorant jealous people happy??? And to you folks who say our president elect isnt qualified, I guess you would rather our country be in the hands of someone (John McCain) who graduated at the bottom of his class, in contrast to Barack, who graduated at the top of his class at Harvard U! One last question....What if barack gets the economy going again??? Will you people suck up your pride and admit you were wrong? Or would you rather drown in a recession, as long as its not a black president. Oh and god bless the guy who left the Nigger comment! Jesus still loves you

I'm sure Obama is spending his own money...he has money you know before he came into office....and it's none of our business where he vacations nor yours....my goodness the man need a vacation...did you take your vacation yet?

Well glad to see that the economy hasn't hurt the obama's. But what else is new he talks one thing and does another. That's what the next 4 years will be also.

No it looks like you're the loser. You and so many others should not have sent all your money to Obama. Now he is out spending it on expensive vacations while you are doing without these holidays. This is to bad, and is definitely sad This is just the beginning, his four years has not started yet.
