Kris Van Assche is helping men wear their heart around their neck with a line of heart-shaped necklaces. His latest is the "Para Siempre" necklace was, he says
in an article in the International Herald Tribune, inspired by South American spirit and passion. Van Assche, who has his own brand and also works as artistic director for Dior Homme often includes jewelry as part of his men's collections. His heart-shaped necklaces also seem to indicate his personal experience. In Spring/Summer 2007 he did 'Love Hurts' but he's feeling a bit more tender now, para siempre means forever. The necklace is available in gold plate or silver with a blue enamel, heart-shaped inscribed medallion and sells for $220 or $500.
