If you do the math and keep your membership for several years at least, you can actually make this into a very good deal; it's an easy way to stay in luxury in a slew of places you may never have been brave enough to vacation otherwise!

This looks like a really bad deal. I mean, awful, terrible, and stupid, clearly meant to take advantage of those with more money than sense (or basic arithmatic skills). They've got really limited locations, they don't offer each tier of membership at each location, they've got extremely limited choices at each destination, and for the 95 large minimum you're paying for this 'privilege' you could stay at nicer places (and have a wider array of choices) for a much, much longer time. Maybe Neolight sees something I don't, but this just looks like an intelligence test.

Ultimate Escapes has just announced a major downgrade in their membership - not in costs to buy (those remain high and getting higher) but by seriously reducing the number of days that members can use the club - by more than 20%. Although they sold their memberships with heavy reliance on the MAP program, which gave members the ability to get days usage or added amenities like spa treatments and chefs, they have eliminated it unilaterally as of an announcment yesterday. This means that members have less than 80% of the number of days they had originally paid for - while still paying the same dues and with no refund of their club downpayment. This club must be seriously hurting.
