I am sure that even AmEx is feeling the effect of the economy and are trying to jump-start some spending with great deals.
Kudos to them for making some of these deals for us cardmembers. Although I wont be participating, it is great to see the effort put forth by them.

That WishList sounds like a great idea right? But try actually getting one of those deals. There are a limited number of each product at those prices. I have tried for a laptop twice now, and click on the buy button the moment that the countdown timer gets to zero, only to be told it is sold out. I really like American Express, but this frustrates the heck out of me.
