Lance Bass in Beverly Hills, Estate of the Day

Singer and current Dancing With The Stars contestant Lance Bass is pretty serious about getting rid of his Beverly Hills Post Office area home this go round. Yes, that's right, as the Real Estalker reports this isn't Bass's first trip to the real estate rodeo. He put this home on the market first back in 2006 for $5.25 million (check out the original house tour from back then here). He bought the home in 2003 for $3.88 million so at that price he was poised to make a tidy profit. The home didn't sell and now he has put the home with the guest house and two pools up for sale at a price that is whisper close to his original purchase price. Why? The Real Estalker's commenters dish that he already has his eye on a new bigger house. The over-one-acre property has great views and lots of space in fact it seems like too much space for only one man. While the decor is a bit off-kilter and downright florid in places there are things to love, like the skylight in the kitchen and the many terraces and balconies with fantastic views. The guest house, perched neatly next to the pool is almost more appealing than the main house. There is also a separate gym which has its own bathroom. This home is listed at $3.925 million.

this house is ridiculous--its amazing that all you have to do is be a huge fairy and sing crappy music. If this guy gets this kind of house, give me a pink tutu and I will dance around like a doofus and fake sing really bad music!

Amy why do you have to resort to name calling??? Calling him a huge fairy. If you don't like his music, you just don't like it. Don't resort to name calling then. Some of your loved ones are very likely gay too. Would you call them names such as "fairies" or "DYKES".. HARDLY. GET A LIFE AND GROW UP and stop being such a mean spiritied person.

Why must so many people like you criticize and belittle others and or their possessions, just because they may not have them. Grow up, chill and take a nice pill

He should never rehire or recommend his interior designer. What a mess!

Some of the rooms are ok, but I wouldn't have done the red room and that horrible green bathroom.

Yes, I can see why a single person would have their eye on a much larger place. This house seems much too small to me!!!

This is a pefect example that money DOES NOT buy taste or class. It would probably sell if he took everything out if it and removed all the window treatments ( if you could call them that )

I wouldn't mind even just living in the guest house! ha ha! Wish I had the money to shell out on this PAD cause it is pretty nice.

Tis sad there are so many JEALOUS people around. That home is gorgeous and don't they wish it was their home. Be very proud of your home Lance.

Nicely said Rickey.... I am in Full agreement.
Riki Nov 9th 2008 6:25PM
Why is that people who can't think of ways to spend it beyond themselves get all the money? Really? One person lives in that giant house? You could make a fortune just renting out individual rooms!
Tailynn Nov 9th 2008 6:29PM
He needs to hire a stager. Perhaps we can see his house on HGTV's *Designed to Sell" or "Get It Sold," I am sure of the designers on the show could make it sale ready in no time.

From the outside front, it looks like a small upscale mini-mall. The inside is just poorly decorated and, as always, plenty of wasted space.

It is so sad to see so many nasty comments that people have made about this house. Is it just plain ENVY that makes people write such nasty, tacky comments? Do they even have anything comparable?? You know the old saying. "If you do not have something nice to say, do not say it". Why must so many people criticize and belittle others and or their possessions, just because they may not have them. Grow up people, chill and take a nice pill.

The house itself is purty, but I don't understand why one or two people need that much house. But I don't get the Hollywood party mentality either, that needs that much space. If I were that wealthy, I'd spend on travel instead, and maybe have several little houses around the world. If I wer that famous, I'd spend on security but keep the house smaller and cozier.

This home is beautiful. Lance is a sweet guy. Too bad some people are so jealous of his success. Amy would you like this home better if Lance was straight? Or, if you had more class? Or a life of your own. Grow the hell up. You are showing your jealousy and it is ugly. No need to resort to name calling.

I think the house is beautiful. But I would love to know how a guy could live alone in such a huge place.

Look the bathroom has his and his sinks.
