Ralph Lauren's Luxe Holiday Offerings

This holiday season, Ralph Lauren is coming out with luxurious and exorbitantly colorful collection of modern classics, featuring decadent accessories for men, women and the home. One of our favorite items is this vintage-inspired sterling silver flask with an enameled portrait of a 19th-century jockey, priced at $2,495. Other highlights include eye-popping takes on the elegant alligator and crocodile belts Lauren has been doing for decades, in shocking go-to-hell colors like purple and orange. The women's version features a horseshoe-shaped buckle and costs $1,895.
In addition, there are velvet slippers for men embroidered with a bold equestrian figure in several colors for $950; a pillow made from a silk equestrian-themed scarf backed by luxurious cashmere for $795; cashmere throw blankets in bright tones bordered with contrasting suede for $995; and saddle leather jewelry boxes with brightly-hued alligator lids for $2,895. Lauren was just named the most powerful man in men's fashion meanwhile by industry bible DNR, beating out Giorgio Armani for the top spot.

Someone with more money than brains, because crocodile hides don't really cost that much at wholesale prices.

This is disgusting. The economy is awful, thousands of people have recently lost their jobs and there are people buying. $1,895 sterling flasks. If you have the money to buy that, you should be looking more to help out your fellow man and makes some charitable donations. I don't know something just hits me bad with such excess when $20 could help a starving child. I personally am always looking at ways to save money, so that I can go out and enjoy a good meal in a restaurant and other of life's pleasures that cost a little extra.
I personally love TARGET. Great for fashion and funky home stuff that looks like it cost a lot more, as well as staples.
I shop online to save money on gas, use less gas and save money period. I shop at all my favorite stores through an online website that gives me the unpublished codes at about 300 stores (including Target, The Gap, Best Buy, Old Navy,
Drugstore.com, etc) as well as giving me between 5 and 50% back in cash on my purchases. The site is http://www.fatcrumbs.com I am being good to the environment and great to my wallet.

How disgusting. People are out of jobs, losing their homes, can't afford medicine. Anyone who purchaes these kinds of luxuries (such as Cindy McCain) should be ashamed of themselves. they should give the money to someone who needs it for food, to pay their mortgage, to take their child to the doctor!!!

Why do you people care where these people spend there money? You assume if they buy luxuries for themselves that they don't donate anything to charity or help people. Hey Bunnie before you make stupid comments about Cindy McCain maybe you should read up on some of the stuff she does for starving people on her own dime without any fanfare, self promotion or government help. I'll give you a hint she gives enough that if she wants to spend some of her money on herself you should leave her alone. It never strikes you that when you save money for eating out, etc....that your $50 is like $2000 to someone else, why should they feel guilty for enjoying their wealth? Go make your own money and stop bitching about other people being successful.

Amazing we talking about belts, and some one brings up Cindy McCain. As I understand it she is a wealthy person from old money. She has the right to do what she wants to. Probably make a few people happier if she donated her money to Obamas illegal aunt living in section 8 subsidise housing in Boston, that we as Americans are paying for, and Obama knows nothing about. Yea right.
Cindy you want a belt, buy a belt, if you have it go for it. Least we all know you and Hubby are American citizens with birth certificate. Now Bama he another story. ROFL
