Herman Miller's Embody Chair
Herman Miller has just unveiled its latest style-meets-ergonomics piece: the Embody Chair. Designed by the late Bill Stumpf and completed by Jeff Weber, this piece claims to improve lower body circulation, mind-body connection and office productivity. The company decided Embody would make its first appearance at Germany's Orgatek show, which is where the company's iconic Aeron chair debuted in 1992 -- it landed in the Museum of Modern Art soon after.
The Embody chair retails for $1,595.

I have to say the Aeron wins for me in terms of aesthetics. Although, this new Herman Miller does look like a cute little robot staring back at me.

I saw and sat on the Embody chair on the day of its launch. It's cyborgish look and super comfortable feel won me over in a heartbeat. I never would have thought a chair could actually make my overworked and overstressed back relax, but this one did. I am currently saving all my pennies to buy it!

I really want to sit in one of those! I just got the infamous Aeron chair from officedesigns.com and I have to say, it has made a huge difference. I'm totally ordering online from this company from now on, fabulous experience it was! And the chair is perfect. I'll totally vie for the benefit of ergonomics.

I've sat in this bad-boy and it is absolutely heavenly (if you can just get past the look)!
