Two iconic London restaurants are bound overseas opening in 2010 adding to the growing and diverse culinary landscape of Dubai. Both
The Ivy and
Le Caprice will debut in the emirate clinching their premier status on the international scene, although they are both already popular celebrity haunts in their home country. I haven't had the pleasure of visiting either of these eateries but if they are good enough to transplant to Dubai they must be exceptionally full of culture, cuisine and character.

Austin is known as The Live Music Capital of the World, the city has a vibrant live music scene with more music venues per capita than any other U.S. city. Austin's music revolves around the many nightclubs on 6th Street and an annual film/music/multimedia festival known as South by Southwest.
Dubai may be emerging but Austin may still be better for a great night out. Check these sites to compare for yourself:

Dubai still has to go a long way to become part of the cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Paris and London. Dubai has no history but it is building its reputation as a destination of choice.
