Beyond Yoga Pants Giveaway
With shorter days and colder weather, the temptation to snack your way into a new size is upon us. One way to fight the urge to cocoon is to splurge on new workout clothes. Even better if the clothes are cute. The clothes from Beyond Yoga are meant to do exactly what the title say, to go from yoga to the rest of your life. The pants are made from soft, wrinkle-resistant and sweat-wicking Supplex so they feel cozy but won't get soaked if your yoga life includes a Bikram class. These yoga pants have a large following with everyone from Cindy Crawford to Reese Witherspoon and Charlize Theron singing their praises. The line includes several styles of pants and tops ranging from camisoles and tanks to jackets and long-sleeved tops that would also look great with jeans.
We are giving away two pairs of the original pants. One in medium and one in large. These pants sell for $77. To win, throw a little fitness inspiration my way with a comment on what you do to avoid the threat of winter weight and let me know which size you need, medium or large.

Put a note or picture on the fridge reminding you gently that you need to work out or not eat that yummy thing calling your name.

Ooops and I need a large........ugh
Chi Sep 16th 2008 3:55AM
Yoga, of course! And avoiding all the holiday sweets... If I can't avoid them, then crunches while watching TV :D
If I win, I'll take a large :)

Wii Fit is the best. It's got outdoor running, strength training, aerobics, balance, Yoga, stretching, and it's fun. Plus it's done in a climate-controlled environment.
We'd need size medium, I think. :)

Size: medium
Best way for me to beat the winter weight is to cut back on anything fried and oily. In the summer, its easier to get outside and stay active. Since activity is usually slowed in the winter, it's best to reevaluate food choices and cut out certain things.

Can you say 12oz curls anyone... large please :)
Dominic Sep 16th 2008 10:48AM
My way of fighting off the winter weight...
avoid fattening holiday food (yeah right...)
keep calorie intake down (again....yeah right...)
keep active (only...this seems more likely to happen).
I'd like to ask for a size Medium please.

I'd recommend Wii Fit, the yoga exercises, for those winter days when it's too cold to go running outside. For serious weight-loss potential, cardio boxing. Medium size please.

My plan for keeping fit this winter:
First thing in the morning I turn on the "Mamma Mia!" soundtrack and dance around the living room.
Also, I just started dating a lovely, gorgeous gentleman, and I'm hoping in a month or so I'll be expending calories in the bedroom on a regular basis. :)
Large, please.

With the winter coming there is also going to be alot of baking and comfort food cooking so i always try to eat in moderation. I think that is the key along with staying active even if you don't have time to exercise on a regular basis just getting your self in the habit of moving your body everyday. I never deprive myself but i know i cannot eat everything in sight. This last year I have lost 70lbs and have kept it off. The hardest part is keeping it off. Thank you...Size large would be great.

Listening to some upbeat music on the ipod helps motivate me while I'm on the treadmill, now I stop looking at how long I've been running/walking and keep going.By the time I realize it I,ve worked out for 40 min. to an hour long.
rreneewyoming Sep 16th 2008 3:57PM
Medium please:)

I exercise in the evening by carrying my toddler down the hill to the waterfront along Lake Union. We walk along and look at the ducks and boats and then I pick him up and I walk uphill again. Good for arms, legs and family time. And it tuckers him out, too, in time for bed.

In Arizona, winter is the season to revel in the outdoors. Once a week I do each of the following: go on a hike, take a long walk, go running and take a yoga class. The different exercises target various areas of my body and every week I have a complete work out for myself.
I was given my first pair of Beyond Yoga pants a year ago and I absolutely love them.
I'd love a size small!
Jong Sep 16th 2008 7:33PM
I suggest Wii Fitness for winter season!! The horrible winter weather may give you a execuse not to go out and exercise but Wii Indoor will definitely keep you working out!
btw, Medium for me
MK Sep 16th 2008 7:38PM
I need to get back into the exercise mode, in the past it was lots of weights and Precor cross trainer...so large for now and medium soon.

When my car died about a year ago, I decided to see if I could live without buying a new one. Never in my wildest imagination would I have ever thought that I'd want to live without one. Who would? But since then, I've found that walking to the grocery store and other places that I need to run errands has been a blessing in disguise. I've lost weight, toned up and I'm saving at least $300 per month. The trick about the grocery shopping is to only buy what I can carry. It has really been a good thing!
