Think about it, C. McCain's fashion sense it geared towards the high and ultra-high end fashion, whereas M. Obama's sense would probably be affordable for many (if not most) women.

J. Just because Cindy McCain is an heiress is not her fault. It just shows that somewhere in her family someone worked long and hard to create a substantial business. She should not be ridiculed for that. Each one should be able to make their own fashion statement and it shouldn't matter if we like it or not. It is what they are most comfortable in. They should be comfortable in their own skin and make no apologies for it.

Mary Barfield

Comments on New First Lady Jewelry Fashion: The Pearls Vs. Just because someone has a life style different from yours does not mean you should ridicule and belittle it. Ms. Palin appears to be a well rounded good old American girl. It is interesting that others who have given so little back should dare to criticise her. Sarah Palin is one of us!!!!! We love them both!!!!! Last time I checked, in order to run for President or Vice, you had to be an American citizen. I would also think that the Obama's are truly the American dream. The dream of coming from so little only to accomplish so much and achieve so many. I'm confused about your statement.

Texas Razorback

Comments on New First Lady Jewelry Fashion: The Pearls Vs. Aren't we all taxpayers? Don't we all register for selective services?
Also, why is she over in other third world countries, when there are "true American's" over here struggling and having hard times? What happened to "Choosing America First?" Obama did. He could have had any job with his Ivy League education but what did he do. He Choose America First and went to the streets of Chicago. Something that Miss Palin knows nothing of.

Texas Razorback

Comments on New First Lady Jewelry Fashion: The Pearls Vs. Which had to have been pricey as she does not have a typical sized or shaped body. She could not wear something "off the rack".
I think they all look nice, represent their husbands and or the position well. It will count for something.
