Gucci's Pricey 'Crocodile Pelham Shopper,' Handbag of the Day
I'm not crazy about the triangular shape of this crocodile pelham shopper bag from Gucci but otherwise it's a standard, versatile shoulder bag that's sure to be useful as well as fashionable. Featuring crocodile in dark green with silver hardware and two braided straps, the bag also has horsebit accents, tab-snap closure, protective feet on the bottom, and an inside zip pocket. Measuring 19.3" x 5.1" x 11" it's an attractive and generously sized bag but I must admit I'm not sure what exactly warrants the sky high (even for Gucci) price of $22,900.

I completely agree, the price is crazy high. The handbag is absolutely beautiful though. If I had the money, it would be one to add to the collection. If I am able to find this one on sale, I may have to break down and get it. I have an older model of this style and I absolutely love it! Love the bag! But can't say that its price is reasonable. The crocodile may be divine, but there are so many brands on the market selling comparable exotic skin bags for more attractive prices. Gucci does use the best materials, still ensures true craftsmanship (this bags is probably made by one person, from beginning to end) and has original designs but can't get over its hefty price tag! Well, a person can only dream!
