Ralph Lauren is betting that some people will be willing to pay over $4,000 for a bottle of perfume this holiday season. His "super premium" perfume titled simply "Love" will be launched at Harrods in October. The fragrance will come in a gold-plated bottle and wlll be aimed at luxury consumers over the age of 25.
