The old handle worked just fine. Instead of fixing something that isn't broken why don't you continue to stock parts for chairs that are 10 or 15 years old? Your lifetime warranty doesn't mean much if you no longer stock replacement parts does it?

CB

Comments on La-Z-Boy Updates Their Handle

I had a 63 Rambler American. Considering my now
Saturn, it wasn't such a Bad Car... It got good gas milieage too...
Why they put my car's handle on your lazy boy recliner, however, most probably had something to do with an overage at a china factory, for a failed company, making some Widgetts... Lazy Boy probably paid .5 cents each for them...
Wahdayamean??? Life Time Guarantee??? Betya they never replaced one chair since Fred Flintstone bought his!!! Yaba Daba Doo!!! What news this is and I can't believe Fox didn't break it first! I can see a Rambler door handle but I also see an overgrown toilet handle. About 4 years ago, we bought a recliner from them. About 4 months later there was a problem with it and after talking to the store, we waited for service. After 3 attemps to get the problem resolved, I took the chair to the store and dropped it off. I was told to pick it up that afternoon. When I went back to get it, I was told that the serviceman didn't show. They said I would be contacted. It didn't happen. When I complained, The manager said he would call me.
He didn't call. This happened at North Canton, Ohio. I wouldn't buy a La-z-boy ever again. I have had good succes with the furniture store in Sugarcreek, Ohio. I tried to negotiate anything to offset my $4000.00 investment. I was advised to live with it. Probably the only thing good was the handle.
