Christie Brinkley's Tower Hill, Estate of the Day

Supermodel Christie Brinkely has had this home, Tower Hill in the Hamptons on the market off and on since 2002 (although I first became aware of it in 2005). Now with a messy divorce behind her, she's trying her hand at selling it again. The impressive property in Bridgehampton was originally built in 1898 by Dr. John Gardiner and named Dulce Domum. The home is on a 20-acre parcel 200 ft. above sea level. The key piece of the estate is the 50 ft. observation tower which offers sweeping views of the ocean. The 12-bedroom compound includes a main house with multi-level stone terraces, a guest house with a greenhouse conservatory overlooking a botanical nursery, a gunite pool, a barn artist studio with gym and living quarters with a 4-car heated garage. The property includes lawns, walking paths, gardens, tennis courts, basketball court and playground. This estate is now listed at $30 million. It's lovely but perhaps a bit pricey for a home that isn't closer to the beach.

Beautiful grounds, but for $30 Mil I'd expect more of an ocean view than to climb up a 50 foot observation tower! Guess she's trying to liquidate some funds after that costly, messy divorce.

$30,000,000.00 --- No wonder the world thinks we are crazy in the US. With the high salaries of sports stars, movie stars, CEOs, and others, the "bubble" is going to burst and I think it has already started. Unfortunately, it is the middle and lower class who will lose their shirt. High salaried people have made so much money, whatever happens to the economy their life will go on by losing a piddly few hundred thousand. Something has to be done about our ridiculous salary disparities. Truly, are they worth what they are being paid???

I cannot believe what actors, actresses, sports personnel, (let alone ticket prices for music i.e., groups, bands, rap, hip-hop) "earn" or make. I love to hear when they donate to several causes; however, they truly throw money away on massive mansions and amenities living the high life while many of us are losing homes, jobs, living paycheck to paycheck. Also, check out the before looks of faces and the after looks with make up. Many of us who have a talent can make outrageous money with plain faces but present ourselves with great bodies and makeup. Re: Carole,
I hear what you're saying but you do sound a bit jealous... If you are fortunate enough to make that kind of money, then God Bless You!!! I'd by a Big Beautiful house on the water myself!!! Also I'd like to add... Christie looks great without makeup & she has a matching personality!!!
P.S. I live from pocket to mouth. I may not be rich in money but I am rich in having my freedom of time to spend anyway I choose. Also I am rich in being loved & having people to love!!! Lets not forget being rich in health, food, & a roof over my head...
Stop & Smell The Flowers Carole...
Stop & watch a child smile...
Just be thankful...
Have a GREAT night!

Hey Mark...Oh no, I am not jealous but if I had that kind of money I would give to "real" charities, many of which I belong to but cannot give like I used to. I love my home here in Miller Beach, and would do one thing...add another room for my birds! They are my "kids"; give unconditional love and laughs! Sure I would have a "chalet" in the lower part of Michigan around New Buffalo, close to the horseback riding and Lake Michigan.

Mark...Oh heck no I am not jealous as Christie is very beautiful plus after everything she has been through deserves what she wants. I was just saying, I would give money to charities and have a small "chalet" in New Buffalo, MI and add a room on to my home for my birds.
