And, I can't imagine Hermes using more than 3 to make a peacoat. By my calculations, that's $1800 for 3 croc hides, a few dollars for the buttons and clasps, and probably a few hundred for production: total around $2100. Very strange: that doesn't add up to $150K! <br><br>Maybe Hermes needs a new accountancy firm. Therefroe, Hermes is asking one to pay a 3000% markup for this coat. And, the ability to claim that my jacket cost more than most people's cars is not something I'm interested in. Besides, I already own some garments that cost more than some people's cars. Unlike LV who will repair bags for free at their NYC store.  I always thought it was less than nice of Hermes to charge for small services on expensive items.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[just me]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Sep 8th 2008 1:14PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
