Today's estate would be a lot to live up to, the cool factor is pretty high. Out of the sleek modern homes perched on Camelback Mountain with views of Phoenix, Arizona, this is one of the best. The three-bedroom home features glass walls which open out onto terraces and a cantilevered pool and submerged Jacuzzi which seem to float above the city lights. The property also includes a 100 foot mountainside waterfall. The mountain comes inside the home in the 16-person home theater which has a rock wall. The home also features a separate catering kitchen, wet bar, full gym with a rockclimbing wall and a two-bedroom guest house. The garage has clear doors to showcase your exotic cars and the property also includes a putting green. A virtual tour with more pictures is here. This home is listed at $9.4 million.

WOW, what a spectacular home! That has to be the COOLEST home theater ever to grace the pages here! Makes you feel like you at Red Rocks in Colorado.
Also love the triangular infinity edge pool.

that kitchen looks a lot like the break room in my office building (a miss) but the rest of the house is a hit.

Usually "contemporary" is code for..."looked good 7 years ago, but this house is fantastic. Great theater, wonderful glass wall and tones that match the exterior landscape throughout!

Wonderful home! I love the pool and waterfalls, the transition to outside and inside is seamless. I would love to live in this home. I do wonder how often the owner has to carry the mower up and down those steps to mow the putting green? (Probably AstroTurf)

This is one fantastic home ! Although I live very near A.I.'s home in 'Nova, this would be my choice in the luxury home category.

Things like this make me wonder what it is about humans that makes us want to display wealth, could it be to show mastry of our world. partiulary the water features in a place like Arizona where water is even more a commodity than elsewhere. I often wonder if those who build at this scale and magnitude have any regard for the people & places around the world at the other end of the scale, all part of the human condition I suppose,"I just need a little more".... I wonder the same thing about my self, I live in a double wide(this alone is probably above 80% of the world),and aspire to something not this grand but signifigantly upward,if my investments pay off ,if I can get my plans to work out,if....if....if...The bottom line is "I just Need a little bit more".
